These are some of the sites I have worked on recently. However, the bulk of my work is produced in conjunction with other companies and agencies, and it is rarely appropriate to list such websites on my portfolio. For further information on some of these projects, please contact me directly.
leave it out ¬
Leave It Out is a resource that allows people with food allergies and intolerances to find local restaurants who can cater for their needs. Working directly with the client, I developed the PHP foundations of the site, which allow users to search and list restaurants from Leave It Out's database. Leave It Out are also able to update this database themselves, using a secure CMS. The site features extensive use of dynamic Google Maps, to highlight the location of nearby establishments. GameConnection sell computer games and computer consoles online. Working with a local agency, I wrote the underlying PHP scripts that maintain the product database, list products on the site, and allow purchases to be made via Google Checkout. Again, a CMS was also constructed that allows the client to add and remove products from their catalogue quickly and easily. Please note that the site has since been updated and extended by a third party.
weatherseal solar ¬
This is a relatively straight-forward B2C “brochure”-style site, selling eco-friendly solar-heating solutions and so on. However, unlike many of my projects where I work from designs provided by the client, this was a full-service development. I generated the visual designs internally, and wrote all copy for the site.
